OTASA 2017 CODING PROJECT: IMPORTANT DATA COLLECTION

OTASA as well as INSTOPP are very aware of the strain at the moment within the health industry relating to coding structures as well as reimbursement for OT s. We are embarking on an important coding project to address many of these issues. As a first step, we need to gather the correct CODING RELATED information related to practice coding trends ie clinical codes, ICD10 codes but not related to reimbursement. This is valuable data we need to collate and analyse in order to strengthen our professional representation of OT in the market in terms of role players and funders.

We URGENTLY need your help and endeavour to respect your personal and financial privacy at all times. Please read the letter attached and ask you to sign this letter of permission to collect the relevant data from your practice. This is not for code auditing purposes but to identify common diagnosis groupings, coding trends which will help us consider treatment packages as well as clinical protocols related.

Please feel free to email Haley Norval at [email protected] with any questions.

Please email or scan your signed letter back to the OT Office [email protected] as soon as possible 7th April 2017.

Thanking you in advance.
